If college football is going to survive an unknown future, it’s going to have some strong leadership paving the way. According to ESPN writer Bill Connelly, Oregon’s head coach Dan Lanning and offensive coordinator Will Stein are among 30 coaches from across the country who will help define this landscape.
Predictably, Georgia’s Kirby Smart is No. 1 with the Bulldogs’ recent dominance and their place in the biggest conference in America, the SEC. But coming at No. 7 overall and under the category of “More exciting younger head coaches” is Lanning
Coming in at No. 20 under the category of "Rising Young Assistants," Stein will make the Ducks one of the best and most efficient offenses in the country.
In short, Oregon’s immediate and distant future seems to be in good hands

Denny Schuler came to Oregon in 1965 as a WR growing up in the heart of Husky territory, learning under coaching legends John Robinson, Len Casanova, Jerry Frei, George Seifert, and others, playing in the era when UO football switched from Hayward Field to Autzen Stadium.
Starting as a G.A. at Oregon, Denny Schuler began a coaching career that lasted over four decades in college football and the NFL, including a return to Oregon as defensive coordinator from 1986 - 1992. Included are historic images and video footage profiling Schuler's unique experience, and testimonials from former UO players Chris Oldham, Isaac Walker, Derek Loville, JJ Birden, Steve Kemp, and Rory Dairy.

Excitement for the upcoming Oregon football season is at an all=time high, as reflected by renewal rates and requests for season tickets.
With less than five months until the Oregon football season kicks off, excitement for the 2024 schedule in Autzen Stadium already is at a fever pitch — though opportunities still remain to secure seats to see the Ducks in the fall.
Interest in the Ducks last season was sky high — they played three of the top 25 most-watched games in the country last year, and had five sellouts during a perfect 7-0 season in Autzen Stadium.
That interest has carried over into this offseason, with a renewal rate of 95.2 percent from existing season-ticket holders so far — just off the program record set in the wake of the 2010 team's 12-0 regular season — and an additional 10,524 new season tickets purchased as of today. The renewal rate for season parking passes is at 99 percent.

Evaluating how Big Ten move impacts Oregon's already-strong recruiting profile
Evaluating how Big Ten move impacts Oregon's already-strong recruiting profile
“Oregon had On3’s No. 4 ranked recruiting class last cycle. Dan Lanning has been in the top 10 all three cycles,” he noted. “They do recruit nationally, they have the Nike brand there. I think moving to the Big Ten maybe helps them another inch or two on the recruiting trail, but they’re obviously a title contender.”

Oregon spring practice observations: Multiple deep throws, safety absent
EUGENE — Dillon Gabriel and Luke Moga each connected on deep throws during Oregon’s seventh spring practice.
Kyler Kasper and Evan Stewart were on the receiving end of their passes, respectively, each down the left sideline Thursday morning at the Hatfield-Dowlin Complex.
Their receptions came during the second period “fastball starts” 11-on-11 drill, which was early in practice for the first time this spring and provided a glimpse of actual football. The personnel groupings were not remotely reflective of hierarchy on a depth chart though.
Kasper’s catch was highly contested by Dontae Manning. Stewart pulled away in a foot face with walk-on Xavier Barksdale.
Austin Novosad threw an interception that would have been a pick-six.

With the first spring scrimmage a few days away, the Ducks returned to shells on Thursday morning.
Even though it was not full-contact practice, competition was not shied away from, and the media contingent was treated to its first "fastball" period (11-on-11) of spring to close their 18 minutes on the turfs
