Edmead's visit to Eugene was confirmed to DuckTerritory by Lerner Sports Group, the sports agency representing him. The 6-foot-1, 170-pound guard would be a significant target for Dana Altman and his staff as Oregon continues its backcourt reload this offseason. The Ducks have major guard needs to address, especially with proven ball-handling, perimeter shot-making and playmaking all at a premium. Edmead checks a lot of those boxes after a standout freshman season at Hofstra. Edmead was one of the top first-year guards in mid-major basketball this past season, earning CAA Rookie of the Year honors, Second Team All-CAA recognition, a spot on the CAA All-Rookie Team and Most Outstanding Player honors in the CAA Championship.
