  1. Phil and Penny Knight pledge $2 billion to OHSU to ‘revolutionize’ cancer care - oregonlive.com It is fabulous that Oregon's top donators care about all of the people of Oregon, and actually everywhere. It is thought to be the largest single private medical donation, period. Thank you Phil and Penny!
  2. Lanning obviously thinks this Oline is twice as good. 2 really's for this year, just one really for last year. Seriously though in listening to each of the coaches interviewed the past few days, I have really (just 1) gotten the impression that they love the entire team, offense and defense. I did not always get that impression last year. Then again I always get excited about the team every year at this point in preseason practice.
  3. Happy Birthday Charles! And thank you, for me it is one stop shopping!
  4. For me personally, Taggart was a blip-- I got to the point with Mario that I could barely stand to watch Oregon play, the offense was so predictable any defensive coordinator in the country could stop it, I was not sorry in the least to see him leave, and then he managed to even do that poorly.
  5. Thanks for all your work Charles. One new thing I appreciate, I don't belong to twitter (X), I used to have to right click on each tweet and open in a new window. Now the tweets open right up!! Thank you!
  6. I think I am probably alone in my distaste of someone deciding what I should wear to a game. It seems to be a thing for all sports. I know that "I" need to choose what I wear, as the combination I choose will more than likely determine the outcome of the game. ( It has nothing to do with my distaste of being told what to do)
  7. He was first on the list
  8. Moore than enough!
  9. I personally love the 9 AM games. I have been watching them since I was a kid. It is the later games that I really don't care to watch, and will not watch games that start at 7 pm or later. For me College football was Saturday morning and afternoon. I do realize that puts me in a small minority.
  10. I really enjoyed Chips time at Oregon. His teams were the most fun that I have ever watched. Nothing about that changes for me after he left. I will always like him. His 11man comment felt to me, like good- my team, your team banter. It sounded like sounded like 2 good friends with different allegiances arguing in a bar.
  11. But not a great call by the Huskies. They were, in fact, the team that chose to sign him in spite of all those red flags.
  12. I think its the officiating. If I can think of anything specific I will get back to you
  13. I'm surprised these officials didn't call that field goal good.
  14. Drew Allar certainly did not play tonight like he did against OBD
