  1. I was worried a little. Stanford was very well prepared, was playing very well, as well as they expected I think. Oregon adjusted and methodically took the game over, by the end- entirely Oregon. Under Cristobal we lost these games. Lanning has the Ducks prepared for them. I love it. 42-6 in a game that was very tough at the start, we were taken out of an entire quarter. I am looking forward to the rest of the season
  2. That was perfect. A good solid game against an opponent that you should beat, handled a very well prepared opponent just how they should! I love how Lanning coaches
  3. Oregon is playing good solid football, and its needed because Stanford has played very well, extremely disciplined. I am almost more impressed with this kind of football. They never looked like they were playing bad. Stanford looked very well prepared
  4. I spoke about 30 seconds too soon
  5. I have to admit this is the first game I have watched in a long time that the many commercials are almost a relief from watching the quarterback play
  6. I have watched parts of all 3 of their games. I think they looked very well prepared in the first 2, against opponents that really did not seem perfectly prepared. Against CSU the biggest thing I saw consistently was that CSU made a large number of pass receptions to very well covered receivers. I have been impressed with Colorados pass coverage, but having said that- to me the CSU receivers looked very slow afoot. I think Oregon may break a few with the tight coverages and more good receivers. I dont think Colorado wins that game if CSU had stuck with the defense they played the entire game instead of going to an extremely soft zone, on the 98 yard drive that gave up huge chunks on every play. I believe the pass rusher Colorado could not handle (Kamala?) got booted for targeting and the pass rush wasn't the same. Oregons pass rush should get to the Quarterback but needs to wrap up when they get there. I am certainly no expert but its why I respect Colorado, but believe the Ducks should handle them if they play well.
  7. After giving this a lot of thought for 2 days, I will say I don't see where Oregon had a choice but to go. Having said that I just cannot stand the thought of the Ducks leaving the pac, arm in arm with the Huskies. I hate the Huskies so bad that I cannot pull for the Seahawks or Mariners because they are from Seattle. I went to a Mariners game wednesday in my Duck gear and pulled for the Red Sox. I am not looking forward to playing the Purdues, Northwesterns, Iowas- they just don't mean enough to me. I think that playing clear across the country half the time will have an adverse affect on a lot of our sports teams. I do think the regional rivalries are going to be sorely missed. just my .02 cents
  8. I was a little surprised this wasn't already on here I have never seen a better effort at a 3 point contest (because there has not been one) Watch: Ex-Oregon Ducks’ star Sabrina Ionescu dominates 3-point shooting contest, sets record WWW.OREGONLIVE.COM The New York Liberty star missed just two shots on her way to scoring 37 out of a possible 40 points in the final round of the...
  9. I absolutely loved this post, thanks Charles!
  10. I think we are just seeing what had to take place. Lets face it, a lot of players had to leave to get us to the scholarship limit. We knew it would happen around spring practice. Having said that I hate to see Keith Brown go.
  11. Coach Hampton sounds great from everything I have read. I guess I don't understand why a guy that is a coordinator at one school would leave to be a position coach at another. I would guess its money but I am not crazy about that if it isn't a lot of money. It just seems that if he was a great coordinator he would at least move to a coordinators job.
  12. Oregon 35-28 3 TO 1 sack 375 passing
  13. I can't believe that the Chargers and Falcons isn't being shown on Fox in Portland (Hillsboro), there is a reason I tend not to watch the NFL- we always have to watch a Seattle team.
  14. --the winner Oregon --the score 31-17 --the amount of turnovers Oregon creates 2 --the number of sacks Oregon records on the opposing team 2 --the number of passing yards by the Ducks. 215
  15. If USC plays Washington I would pull for USC-----That would be the only time pulling for USC. My personal prejudices are the most important factor in who I pull for. So Utah it is this week . What is best for the Ducks will work itself out as long as we keep winning. I think some Duck fans forget that we are the highest ranked one loss team in the country, despite that being a 49-3 beatdown. If we win out and play good football as we have, I think we will go to the playoffs.
