Oregon Changed the Uniform Game in 1999 and Never Looked Back | Threads

Recommended Posts

For those of you who may not be familiar, Threads is a production of ESPN. Oregon football was featured in a recent presentation and I thought you might enjoy seeing it.

In this episode of Threads, Clinton Yates explores nearly 25 years of the Oregon Ducks having the most innovative, polarizing and influential uniforms in college football.

Oregon's groundbreaking approach to its threads has inspired schools around the country to try a similar approach, especially given how much uniforms now factor into recruiting.

Not sure I agree with that opening line... "their colors were basic" ...

We don't wear red and white really only appears when we play away games... Green and Yellow are hardly basic in the college sports world.
