September 22, 20231 yr No. Call it '11Brute'. 11 Ducks force their will thru good 'ol brute force, like a human battering ram, right thru the heart of the defense. With a name like that the Ducks could catch the defense assuming they're coming straight ahead when the ball carrier actually has options to take it wide if the defense collapses inside. With the speed of James, a bounce outside could be devastating. But the name sounds a bit too mean.
September 22, 20231 yr Moderator No. Thanks Charles! This is a superb analysis and the video gives us a beautiful view of what you described! In the Delaware Wing T we ran as our base offense, we called this play "Down". Play side down block, down block, pull. We never had this many tight ends and big bodies though. The advantage of the Delaware Wing T was smaller athletes could use angles to make up for size. The constraint plays off this are awesome. When the blocking technique improves - Wow! Go Ducks!
