If there is any defining characteristics for the B1G this year it is the lack of offense, but good defenses. Even Ohio State has a bad offense this year. Michigan may be the only team with a great offense. Dare I say it, the defining characteristic of the SEC this year is VERY average defenses and QB play (with exception of the Heisman winner). Missouri offense was unstoppable in SEC play this year and could barely do anything against OSU despite having 50 thousand chances.
