Will Your New Football Coach be Good for U?

Excellent take by College Football News Pete Fiutak. It is not easy to win games in G5 and P4 college football. Especially, if you do not have top-down administrative support and NIL cash on hand.

Expectations are much higher at some programs. DeBoer inherits a solid roster at Alabama and he will be expected to win from day one.

Pretty sure winning 60%, or the 7 to 8 wins a year the article discusses, does not keep you employed at Alabama for very long.

Contrast that to Cal…45% keeps you employed for 6 seasons and counting.
