A post by flyinsouth on another site brought a fantastic point about Dana Altman...

 

"Dana is 24–1 in the opening round games of the PAC-12 Tournament (12-1) CBI (1-0), NIT (4-0) and NCAA (7-0); combined. The loan loss was by 1 point to Colorado in the PAC-12 Tournament in 2012 on a last second shot and the Ducks had a look to win it."

    At the 56:06 mark they discuss Oregon vs South Carolina in the Midwest Region.  They are picking Oregon to beat South Carolina.

    As opportunistic as the Ducks were coming down the stretch, I'd pick them to win this one as well. South Carolina is talented but has been wildly inconsistent at times this season. For example, they let down their guard and lost at home to a mediocre Georgia team earlier in the season. You never know which version of the Gamecocks is likely to show up.
