One thing you can’t say about the Oregon Ducks Athletic Department is that it procrastinates.

 

Oregon unveiled the weekly color scheme for the 2024 season and their first foray into the Big Ten Conference.

 

The Ducks have an exciting schedule lined up this fall and perhaps the biggest game is when Ohio State visits Autzen Stadium for a Black Out on Oct. 12. While game times are far from being announced, it would be a stunning development if that wasn’t a night game under the lights.

 

Although they are new to the league, the Ducks won’t be going into unfamiliar territory as they have visited the five schools in their history. It is interesting that Oregon will be starting out the year with the two Idaho schools with Idaho (Green and Yellow) and Boise State (Black).

Oregon fans will need to get their closets in order as the Ducks announce the 2024 weekly color scheme.

 

To me, there is some pretty dumb thinking here.  The BEST color that shows on TV is yellow...by a mile.  THAT is what all fans should be wearing most of the time, IMHO. Penn State has WHITE-OUT, and

Oregon has YELL-O!

 

You don't wear black on a hot sunny day....as they have on September 7th?  It should be Yell-O for the Ohio State game...

I've always agreed with this. Black just makes the stadium look empty! A big game like Ohio State in Autzen with a sea of yellow would look second to none!
