Chargers beat the Raiders with Justin Herbert only throwing for 144 yards.  (22-10) Apparently the Chargers really committed to running the ball to help Herbert?  Harbaugh and running the ball....who knew?

Seahawks beat Denver, 26-20, as Bo Nix completed nearly 62% of his passes (26/42) for only 138 yards and two interceptions.  I did not see either game and would love the impressions of those who did!

Bo Nix looked like a rookie. One of the funnier moments in the 4th quarter was when he threw his 2nd interception. As soon as the ball left his hand you hear the color commentator, Adam Archuleta, say “oh, no” in a very deadpan tone of voice. He knew it was a bad decision. lt could’ve been worse. Seattle is a tough stadium to make your first start.

Herbert did a good job managing Harbaugh’s offense. His first TD pass of the season was to Ladd McConkey who took a short pass and juked a couple of guys for the score.

Bo had his moments with lots of short passes. When he did throw down field he had some really bad one mostly because he should have never throw the ball in the first place and timing with receivers was off.

The plus side is at the end of the game trying for the come back he got into a better rhythm and had some really nice throws, one back shoulder throw in particular was a thing of beauty.

A little deer in the headlights but once he settled down and relaxed little he started to figure it out. Showed good leadership and communication for rookie. Would you expect anything less.

That was a game the Chargers would have lost last season. They miss Austin Ekeler, who's a Commander now, he would have done well, in the now more run oriented Harbaugh offense.  I think the Chiefs will 3-peat, over the Lions, led by Penei Sewell.
