Penn State Coach Sounds Like a Husky Honk!

Recommended Posts

In the lead-up to the Big Ten Championship, Penn State Nittany Lions head coach James Franklin stirred controversy with comments aimed at the Oregon Ducks. The Ducks, led by Dan Lanning, arrive with an impressive 12-0 record, but Franklin suggested that Oregon’s success stems from its “tremendous resources.” His remarks, made in an interview with Mike Poorman, imply that the Ducks enjoy significant financial advantages in the NCAA, overlooking the hard work and planning behind their achievements.

Is James Franklin Being Fair in His Comments About Oregon Ahead of the Big Ten Championship?

Franklin re:  Oregon's tremendous resources....    Uh, despite Franklin’s insinuations, NCAA financial data tells a different story. According to the latest report, Penn State outpaces Oregon in NIL funding and ticket sales. Penn State’s NIL collective generated $13.7 million, ranking 11th among FBS programs, while Oregon ranked 20th with $10.6 million. Additionally, the Nittany Lions earned over $44 million in ticket sales, nearly double the Ducks’ $25 million. Franklin’s narrative seems disconnected from these facts.

DisConNect-Ul-Ulation is a common disorder, often exhibited by Whine-a-bees and losers... Fakers and Pretenders are also frequent sufferers.

Don’t forget that Oregon is only getting 50% of the media share.

But, as I understand it, an equal share of PO and CBB Tourney $.

Maybe it was just locker room banter, looking for sympathy and connection with the poorman interviewer, not realizing that was actually just his last name?

Stupid Donkey that he is with an inferiority complex to other teams that are better than his. No wonder they never freaking win the big games.

It's now Penn State hate week. I'm up for it.

I’m sure that Penn State’s athletic department budget dwarfs Oregon’s.

Big Game James Franklin is just lining up his excuse for the B1G Championship loss.
