December 4, 2024Dec 4 Moderator Let's see. There is no more important element of a team's success than the OL. Which of these 3 teams had the most success, against the hardest schedule? The answer is it isn't Army or Texas.
December 4, 2024Dec 4 Administrator Does Army know HOW to pass-protect? Didn’t they have the fewest passes thrown this year? Had a game with NO passes? Against Georgia, did Texas do ANY pass-protection? The choice is clear… Mr. FishDuck
December 4, 2024Dec 4 Raise your hand if after the Bedford injury and the Idaho / Boise State games, you predicted OBD OL would be one of the three finalists for the Joe Moore award. I don’t see any hands!

I don’t see any hands! No way. Actually it was after the first half of the Boise State game...a first half with FOUR sacks that the change in the second half of Poncho to center, and Strothers in at guard began to work. But become one of the best? At that point I was hoping for survivable! Mr. FishDuck
