Posted December 6, 2024Dec 6 I was just listening in as my wife watched. Good morning America this morning. Their college football “authority” Jess Sims previewed conference championships. Of course being an ESPN/ABC affiliate she only spoke at any length about the SEC championship game and then mentioned at the end that the schedule was the ACC championship game at one, the SEC championship game at five and then the “ACC”championship game at eight. I guess there are two ACC championship games,(maybe Miami gets in one after all. Ha ha ha) and no mention of the BIG championship game or Oregon or Penn State at all?! I feel that the Ducks are the least media covered number one team I can remember. That’s my vantage point from the east Coast. How does it seem to others elsewhere? December 6, 2024Dec 6 Moderator That's pretty bad. We've discussed before, and actually put a positive spin on the lack of Oregon talk, "Oregon's No.1, they're beating Penn State on Saturday., Nothing to see here. The story though is what about Alabama under 1st year coach, Kalen DeBoer. What's going to play out on Saturday to get them in the Playoffs and keep this thrilling season going for Roll Tide!" Oregon's become old news.
December 6, 2024Dec 6 Administrator Oregon is “annoying” news that most would prefer to ignore. Keep winning and they can’t! Mr. FishDuck
December 6, 2024Dec 6 Yesterday the headline for the ESPN story on the B1G CCG read "No. 4 Penn State vs. No. 1 Ohio State." I am not kidding -- that's what it said. Unbelievable!!
