We'd All Like to Forget This Alamo Bowl

Recommended Posts

BYU TD on their second possession... 7-0

The Sandersons looked discombobulated on their first drive.

This game has been a fecal extravaganza from the start. It should be called the Lack of Focus Bowl. Seven penalties in the first quarter, two dropped passes that would’ve put BYU in scoring position, an onside kick recovery where Colorado was caught sleeping, a dumb trick play that led to an interception, and a mad scramble by Shedeur that took his team out of decent FG range.

I thought mad SS scrambles were SOP.

Wow... I didn't think it could get more pathetic!

Remind me... What keeps Shedeur Sanders so highly thought of?

Colorado can score very quickly. If their defense can force a couple of stops the Buffs can still pull this out. I’ve seen bigger deficits erased in the Alamo Bowl.

A wave of nausea just set in.  I had permanently deleted that from my memory

Buffs are no match for BYU.

Just tuned in a few minutes ago, this game is hilarious lol

Wonder how the post game interview will go with Deion.

I still don’t know why Shedeur is so highly regarded. He can’t even throw the ball away properly.

Dieon's incessant chirping finally caught up with him BIG TIME. By the middle of the third Dieon was looking about as confident as Ty Thompson last week.

"Writing checks your azz can't cash" seems to be Dieon's new motto!

Heisman recall?

Unfortunately, the novelty act that Hunter, Prime and the media put front and center was all that was needed. It was never about winning, making the important plays.

Hmm... This Alamo Bowl seemed to come down to something as simple as the scrimmage.

BYU owned it and Colorado made a few spectacular athletic plays but those don't sustain a game, season or championship.

If the Buffs played the Ducks this year Shedeur would have been sacked ten times.

I left this game on in a back room, while spending time with my family in the other end .

A morbid fascination kept dragging myself and, occasionally,  other members back for glimpses of what could have been,  compared to where we have been blessed to arrive.

Oregon has a potential pot of gold at the end of the rainbow... Miami can't even glimpse the rainbow.

All they got was leftover Pop Tart crumbs.

I guess you can say their season's aspirations crumbled.

I'm starting to smell that overpriced flop in the NFL that never ends up amounting to anything. Unfortunately it'll probably be my Raiders that end up drafting him with their first round pick.
