Seven penalties in the first quarter, two dropped passes that would’ve put BYU in scoring position, an onside kick recovery where Colorado was caught sleeping, a dumb trick play that led to an interception, and a mad scramble by Shedeur that took his team out of decent FG range. BYU owned it and Colorado made a few spectacular athletic plays but those don't sustain a game, season or championship. A morbid fascination kept dragging myself and, occasionally, other members back for glimpses of what could have been, compared to where we have been blessed to arrive. Oregon has a potential pot of gold at the end of the rainbow... Miami can't even glimpse the rainbow.
