A response to Herbstreit’s initial Tweet read, “You wanted Alabama in the playoff.” The ESPN analyst wasn’t about to let that stand. “Keep believing the false narratives clown,” Herbstreit tweeted in response. LOL. That is EXACTLY what he was saying when he ragged on SMU and Indiana for their performances, unless he thought that Ole Miss should have been in the playoffs.
