Report: ESPN, ACC Agree to TV Extension, Potential Resolution for Clemson, FSU

Recommended Posts

Per David Hale and Andrea Adelson at ESPN, the Atlantic Coast Conference will be ratifying an extension from ESPN for the next decade through 2036 with their current deal currently set to expire in 2027. With that, they also noted the impact this would have on the issues between the league and two of their biggest brands in Clemson and Florida State.

Still no new money for the league as a whole.  Clemson, Miami, UNC and Miami will get a larger chunk, which comes at the expense of the other schools.

And Notre Dame will play more games vs. Clemson, FSU, and Miami, making it more difficult for brand ACC teams to reach the PO. Brilliant!

2024-25 was a postseason disaster for the ACC where the conference went 2-11. Play eight games and stiffs OOC and a lot of mediocre teams will go bowling and be bashed.

And guess what Clemson and FSU, the Power 2 does not want you. Keep paying those legal fees so you can join the B12. Brilliant!
