You may not have noticed the menu bar in the header.  There is a new item called “News.”  We invited you to explore this section.

When you click on the word “News,” you will see an index of multiple links to sports news sites for your enjoyment!

From now on, except for a very few circumstances, our threads will be just one page. Advertising only appears on the first page and we want to make as much money as possible for the site.  The bonus in doing this is that it will be easier for everyone to move around the thread.

Two Ducks, Dante Moore and Evan Stewart, Could Fly Up the Draftboards.

DUCKSWIRE.USATODAY.COM

A pair of Oregon Ducks have been listed as major potential risers in the 2026 NFL draft as we head into the offseason.

If Dante comes through with the help of Moore and others, he could have one year starting and then head off to the NFL.

I sure hope he has the option to go or stay! 2025-26 will have a stronger quarterback class than last season. This, and NIL, will factor into the decision. If he plays up to an early draft choice level, he'll be duly rewarded with a direct payment in the amount paid to top QBs, with NIL the cherry on top.

NIL is not roundly loved in CFB, but the pros are happy that it retains good CFB players who need an extra season of development with no cost to the NFL.
