June 14Jun 14 Nobody goes undefeated but this a nice start for the Liberty. Sabrina plays a nice role where she can star or contribute, whatever is needed. Her ability to triple double highlights what she can do in multiple ways.
June 14Jun 14 Fever are ahead at halftime. It’s difficult to win ten straight, in any sport. Clark has 25 points. Sabrina 14. Clark is the only Indiana player that has scored in double figures. That lead wont hold if Clark doesn’t get help from two others scoring more than 10. Edited June 14Jun 14 by Mike West
June 14Jun 14 So, I attribute this loss to win fatigue. Sabrina dropped 34 in a losing effort. Clark finished nearly pulling off a triple double ( 32 points, 9 assists, 8 rebounds). I will say this. The Fever aren’t as good as the Liberty, but they are close. Indiana is legitimate. They are going to lose some games they shouldn’t, but they have shown they will give the big girls a run for their money. The first game wasn’t a fluke. This rout demonstrates they can dominate a strong opponent on an off day. That is a huge statement. Now we get to see how they handle the Liberty in New York. That will reveal just how much a contender they actually are.

It looked like it was Sabrina against the Fever all game and that won't work. Injuries are part of the game, so not an excuse, but the Liberty really missed Jonquel Jones. The Liberty won't be playing "their" game if Sabrina gets 34.

Man, Sabrina has really upped her game this year.

A terrific athlete improving their game is great to watch. Caitlin Clark X'd on the US Open at Oakmont. was shown yesterday on NBC's broadcast: 'Does anyone have fun playing there? I wouldn't break 130!' Color Commentator Kevin Kisner - 'If she played from way back tees, she'd run out of ammunition before finishing her round.' 😁
