RS Freshman, and 3-star recruit out of Fayetteville, Arkansas, Drake Lindsey, is the new starter for the Gophers and has played well in his first two starts on the Golden Gophers' home field.

This is a step up in competition for both teams, with Minnesota a slight favorite at -2.5.
