After that, every time we visited him in Molalla, it was a game night ritual to sit around his massive vintage radio, eating popcorn, and consuming appropriate beverages...Dad, Grandpa, Uncle George, my brother's and myself, plus a couple of cousins who lived in the area. Lucky he had a massive bedroom!

I started my first hockey addiction every Saturday night with "Hockey Night in Canada" with Don Cherry. Besides going to Vancouver for NHL games we found going to Seattle much easier to watch the Junior League Seattle Thunderbirds.
