Maybe he is just negotiating, but sounds familiar to how this was all put together.

Funny thing, Hayward... That booster, a $20+ billionaire, happens to be related to Cristobal by marriage... 

I had to look it up to see what the area looked like... good luck fitting a college stadium and parking for it there... and yeah traffic might be a tiny issue

Ruiz is a few SEC approvals and investigations away from $20+billion at this point.  He’s an ambulance chasing lawyer for now.  Not sure he has put any real money into the school yet.  
 

But propose a big stadium on property you don’t own with money you don’t have and see how far that gets you when Mario comes to Christmas dinner.

MC is going to get that new stadium right about at the same time pigs fly out of a very unlikely place 😉
