Why Not Go For Dabo?

Recommended Posts

Matt Zemeck of Trojans Wire says the Ducks have nothing to lose and everything to gain by going after Dabo.

Dabo Swinney to Oregon will never happen, said the Riley-to USC Doubters

I think we would have a better shot at Riley to Oregon. Ha!

Dabo won't work well in Eugene.

Oregon will need a coach that embraces NIL, not one that critiques it.

Oregon will need a coach that doesn't rely on religious platitudes.

Oregon Will need a coach that brings in a strong staff, Dabo has just lost about half of his.

Oregon needs a lot of things right now and I don't think dabo hits on most of them.

With all that dabo is still a great coach, he is just way more fit for the south than he is for Eugene, and that is okay.

Swinney is not out of the question, but I'm under the impression that he is deeply rooted in the life he has at Clemson. The article is correct, however. "Game done changed". In a world driven by the mighty dollar where mighty dollars are no barrier, anything seems possible.

I could be wrong, Lord knows I am a lot, but I have a funny feeling we are about to witness something along the lines of extraordinary with Oregon's next coaching hire. After all, the game done changed.

 So, Phil, "Just Do it!"

After years of stability Dabo just lost his DC to Oklahoma, his AD to Miami and his OC is rumored to be the #1 candidate at UVA. But come west? I don't see it. And would UO pony up $9M per annum plus incentives?
