Posted December 11, 20213 yr As a Ram's fan I wasn't sold on someone as young and inexperienced as McVay but I listened to the other Ram's fan and accepted him and he has been a solid coach for the Ram's ever since. I feel many Duck's are going to feel the way I did about McVay but will be pleasantly surprised at how good a young genius coach can be.

I like Matt Stafford but he is fairly old so I still think there is a possibility that the Ram's end up with Mariota in the future. My Pacers ended up with Chris Daurte and I'm actually happier with him as a Pacer fan then I was as a Duck fan. My main point is we don't know a whole lot about Lanning but he seems to be one of those young exciting coaches. Also, I was begging for Oregon to hire a Georgia or Alabama Coordinator and they came through.
