He has been a good Tight End for Oregon but as we have a good grasp on that position now and some depth, I really see him becoming a dominant force on defense under Lanning. I think it is a really smart move on his part to return for one more year to show case his ceiling and talents with a top tier defensive scheme.

According to this tweet, it looks like he will be focusing on defense.  Great News!!

Great News!!  So glad he is returning.

His play at TE, was outstanding in 2020.  He looked like Colt Lyerla, catching and running with the ball.  But as a blocking/kick out TE is where he excelled from Lyerla.  Then bouncing back to DL, I would let him go both ways.  He has that kind of talent.  I hope he has a highlight reel season in 2022/23.

He and Dorlus, I am excited to see owning opposing offenses this fall.  I do hope that DL will make the Defense more 4-3-4 with a Rover/LB/SS like Bassa, like to see him at 235-240 to take on those TE  in the middle.
