Canzano: Drayton Carlberg's Twitter Yard Sale Part of NCAA's Problem

Saw this Canzano article which raised some good points, including what the NCAA is doing to their overall brand with the current playoff format. Interesting op-ed.

The NCAA always seems to do what it takes to keep the players under its thumb, and re-establish itself as the "God" of college sports. (Sitting right next to ESPN and Alabama)

Will it ever change ??

That is exactly, and only how the NCAA, led by former Husky, Mark Emmert, operates now days. Instead of evolving to meet the realities of today's Collège sports, it holds tight to infractions like this. It's major call to action is recruiting, which has remained mired in controversy for decades.

A terrible institution that is rivaled only by Larry Scott, the Pac-12 and the officiating in the Pac-12!

I know that many are not a fan of John, but he does bring up some great points about the issues the conference and CFB faces.  This is a very interesting article about a former Duck selling all his gear to make some money--and other fallout ramifications.

Drayton Carlberg (No. 90) created this fumble against Cal...and recently has sold the jersey he is wearing!
