30Duck No. 2 Share Posted February 5, 2022 I'm afraid you're right, Cockroach. There was a hope that Arizona would be so hyped that they'd burn out. Instead, they played with purpose, intensity and poise. The Lady Gucks were discombobulated. For a while the game was closer than it should have been, but Arizona was always in control. They played like a team motivated by their loss in Eugene, and wanting to prove in a high profile game that the returning players from last year’s championship game are ready to go again. Yes, give them credit for taking it to us. Painful? Yes. It’s never a good feeling to get out-hustled. But, in-league elite competition is a gift that pays dividends further down the road.
