Mel Renfro was on national radio today for a pre Super Bowl interview. He helps raise money for former NFL players in need.

 

Renfro was a great for the Ducks in the '60s later making 10 Pro Bowls over 14 seasons and playing on two Super Bowls champion teams.

 

His name always surfaces in "best Ducks ever" conversations. The player's fund was begun by Mike Ditka with whom Renfro both played with and for.
