Posted March 25, 20223 yr Moderator We know all about Tradition, at least USC has some, while Washington just thinks it does.
March 25, 20223 yr Administrator The bottom line is....whatever you can sell. If you can sell no tradition, but something unique about the program...like Oregon did in the past, then that can work. Meanwhile Oregon Track can certainly sell "tradition," and it should. Mr. FishDuck
March 25, 20223 yr Author Moderator Michigan has tradition; they're the winningest football team in history, but a lot of good that's done them. They finally beat The Ohio State, and Harbaugh TRIED to leave. Winning a Title doesn't give you tradition either. It's nice, it's an achievement and gets you a trophy. But 1 does not a tradition make. Notre Dame, yeah I know, they have tradition, USC, has tradition. Ohio State has tradition. Alabama had tradition with Bear, now Saban. LSU can come to the Tradition party with Michigan. Texas? I don't know how many championships the Longhorns have, The one they got over USC doesn't give them Tradition. Washington? No.

Tracktown USA definitely has a long and well earned tradition! And now they have brand new Crown Jewel to spruce up and freshen the tradition! DL needs to use it to bring in some world class speedsters! Edited March 25, 20223 yr by PittDuck
