His announcement that he planned to transfer from WSU to Oregon made news, 247's portal tracker lists him as enrolled.  On his seldom used twitter account he says he a kicker at UO.  Despite that he is not listed on the football roster nor the depth chart.  Any information as to what happened?

Most likely related to academics.  Maybe he wants to finish a credential at WSU this Spring and then transfer afterward?

When a player enters the portal the school is under no obligation to continue the scholarship.  I doubt WSU would fund a semester for a transfer to Oregon.
