ICamel No. 1 Share Posted May 21, 2022 First pitch at 12:05PM Jace Stoffal scheduled to pitch for Oregon. While a meaningless game for Pac12 standings(locked in 4th place), I know that Coach Waz wants them to finish strong. Ducks have taken the first two games of the series and a sweep would give Oregon momentum going into the Pac12 Baseball Tournament beginning next Wednesday. Last week Arizona took two games from the then conference leading Oregon State. GO DUCKS, SWEEP THE WILDCATS!

ICamel Author No. 10 Share Posted May 21, 2022 In the top of the eighth inning Stoffal hit the first batter and allowed a single to center field to end his day on the mound. Rio Britton in relief with two on and no outs. And after getting a strike out, Britton is replaced by Logan Mercado. Arizona scores a run on a two out single to center field. Mercado strikes out the next batter to end the top half of the inning. Ducks get the run back on a bases loaded walk after a single by Sam Novitske, double by Drew Cowley and intentional walk to Anthony Hall.

A double to center field puts runners at third and second bases. Somers gets another strikeout. A single to center field drives in two runs for Arizona.
