The tern was coined a while back now to describe Troy Aikman, Emmitt Smith and Michael Irvin of the Dallas Cowboys 30 years ago. It's great to see the Chargers recognized, but will they be able to stop the offenses of the other team's next season?

Justin Herbert, Austin Eckler, and Keenan Allen? Hard to get better than that.

While that was a barely an article, and a stretch for a topic...I have to admit that I agree with it.  That triplet is going to be fun to watch!

HC Brandon Staley’s background is defense. I suspect that with a few more personnel changes they will become a better defense. Their defense does very poorly against the run. They are decent in pass coverage.

They also have Mike Williams and some solid young receivers to accompany the “triplets”. Herbert has a lot of targets available to him when he drops back to pass.

Herbert is definitely the main ingredient of the triplets.
