June 17, 20223 yr Good article. Thanks for sharing, Charles. When I think back to Elijah Molden's decision to play for the Huskies, and Duck fans' disappointment at his "betrayal," it reminds me of the similar sentiments when Kevin Love headed to our dreaded basketball rival in L.A. (Same with Chase Cota, kinda.) Anyway, looking back now, it seems those betrayals were indicative of having the wrong coach running the respective programs. I think we've got the right guys in place now, though.
June 17, 20223 yr Fun read, mentioning the Elijah, Kevin decisions makes me harken back to a what if, what if Danny Ainge had stayed home? That whole decision seemed to send Harter away, and the program into a tail spin. I'm not sure there was a more consequential miss in the history of Oregon sports, hyperbole?
