Is it possible that Lanning knew about the likelihood of an imminent shift of Pac-12 teams to the Big10 when he took his new head coaching position at Oregon?  
 

Would Lanning have taken the HC job if he knew that the Ducks would remain in the Pac-12?

If he did he should be playing the lottery.  USC/UCLA didn't know they were moving when Lanning was hired.
