Unfortunately, the really scary thing for the PAC-12, is that he may right. 

Off of Oregon’s performance today, is that like being the best turd in the bowl?  Ouch!  That was sad to watch.  SO disappointing to see how non-competitive we are with the country’s top football teams.  Hopefully, Lanning’s team can rise from this like Chip’s did from the Boise State game.  At least….it would be nice to see that there’s nowhere to go from here, except “up”……..

Good point!  Ouch!

But I genuinely appreciate your attempt to find some hope by using this comparative. 

 

Boise State did go on to have a 14-0 season... so they were a good team.

 

The thing is, I expect that Oregon will have a rather respectful record at the end of the season against Pac-12 competition. The bummer there is that this may show how truly poor the quality of football that the Pac-12 has become. 

Didn't the announcers keep talking about how superior the top three teams are to the rest of college football?  Let's see how tOSU does against Notre Dame, a talented team with a brand new head coach.
