Tandaian No. 1 Share Posted September 19, 2022 If you want your conference to be taken seriously for a CFP birth, you need to win your non conference games. The Pac 12 went 25-10 to date. They have 5 undefeated teams and 5 others with only 1 loss. Winning against good competition has to happen as well. Wins against Wisconsin, Michigan St. and BYU are good wins. The ACC's best win is FSU over non ranked LSU. The Big Ten has 1 win vs a ranked opponent. tOSU vs ND. The Big 12 has their close loss of Texas to Alabama. The SEC only has 3 non conference wins against ranked opponents. Florida vs Utah, UGA vs Oregon and Tennessee vs Pitt. As long as there is a pecking order in the Pac 12, I have a real good feeling this year about somebody going to the CFP. Any of the undefeated teams make it by going undefeated and Oregon or Utah can go still make it if they win out. Washington miss both USC and Utah during the regular season. Still a million miles away from the finish, but this season is the best start to the season for the Pac 12 in a while. 1

Best combined start for Oregon, Oregon St., Washington, Washington St. (taken collectively) in 90 years, said KPNW radio this morning.
