The Mario Cristobal Effect?: Miami's 2022 vs 2021 Offensive Statistics Compared

Apologies to @Charles Fischer, I won't be able to quote you perfectly from memory, but why are we still talking about Mario Cristobal?

Because he's not a Duck anymore, it's fun, it's entertaining, and gosh darn it, it's really fun . . . Did I mention "fun" too many times? (FishDuck's quote goes something like that).

Quick Reference: "Green" = better, "Red" = worse (Source ESPN):

Even the metrics that were worse in 2021 were so close to 2022 as to be almost negligible.

Why Do I Allow Continued Discussion about Mario Cristobal?

1) Because it is fun.

2) Because it is entertaining.

3) Because it makes me grateful-as-hell that he is no longer here.

I never said I was noble...

What is interesting is how our points per game declined from an average of 43 points for the decade before Cristobal, and he brought it down to the 33 point per game average...where is roughly Diaz was when Mario took over.

But boy...Mario could sure run that scoring down even further to 23 points per game?  It was worse than I thought...yikes!

The good ol' days...

More fun than a barrel of monkeys.

Just wait until next year.

No need to keep putting out a disclaimer guys. Either people get it, or they don't. Personally, I love it! It's the gift that keeps on giving. Only thing better would be if Slick Willie came back to the Pac....wait, what? He's teaming up with priME on a really bad Colorado team? Can next season start already!!!!
