  2. A huge domino, as there is no replacement for experience...
  3. Michigan wins 12-11. I am too distraught to discuss, but I will get back later in the week with my updated thoughts about the team.
  4. 12-10 Michigan after eight innings, as Cole Stokes came in for Oregon...and was awful. He loaded the bases with walks and hit batters, and then Ryan Featherston walked home two runs before finishing the inning. Drew Smith was subbed in, who then hit a three-run homer to close the gap to two....can Our Beloved Ducks pull this out over the Wolverines?
  5. 10-7 Michigan after seven innings, as the Ducks stranded two on base again...
  6. 10-7 Michigan after six innings, as Umlandt was replaced by Santiago Garcia, who was then shelled for a Grand-Slam. To add insult to injury--Oregon stranded bases-loaded to end the inning. My Kingdom for a Pitcher!
  7. 7-6 Ducks after five innings, as Umlandt got tagged for a two-run dinger by the Wolverines, but Oregon got the bats going! A massive two-run blast by Jacob Walsh was a great start... Then the Pride of Springfield, Maddox Molony hit a sweet single to score two! But wait! The Ducks did a double-steal of second base, and home to score Molony!
  8. 4-2 Michigan after four innings. The bad news is that Oregon's Sanford has given up four runs in four innings, and the good news is that the Pride of Sherwood Oregon, Ian Umlandt, is coming into replace him in the fifth inning. Ian Umlandt
  9. 2-2 after three innings. Oregon's Sanford got shaky, but so did Michigan pitching, as the Ducks scored on a wild pitch. But we had bases-loaded with no outs...and only got one run? Waz does not like bunting down the first base line as I do for a sacrifice to score, as I'd trade an out for a run all day when you have 27 outs in a game. I am really looking for the highly acclaimed Will Sanford that we've heard about from fall practice. He has an ERA over 5, and has not done well the last couple of outings. It is said he has four great pitches, but I'd settle for a couple right now! The Throw-Back unis are cool...
  10. This is good news! Still waiting on Evans.

Oregon added a major part of their team in the post-Dillon Gabriel era. The team is set to turn to former five-star UCLA signee Dante Moore. Moore originally committed to Oregon before flipping to UCLA, but transferred to Eugene before last season. As the Ducks begin their big to repeat as Big Ten champs, World figures to be a major contributor. He will be tasked with protecting Moore's blindside in 2025 and giving him time to find Evan Stewart and others.
  13. 1-0 Ducks after two innings from a Mason Neville home run. Oregon starter Will Sanford has given up a couple of hits, but has settled into a groove with fast-balls and sliders. The Michigan pitcher has kept our batters at bay as well, so with the drizzly rain...this might be a day for the pitchers. Coach Waz said in the pregame interview that the Wolverines still have a great starter, reliever and closer on their staff who have not been utilized yet, and we are seeing that is true with their starter.

  15. Dennis Dodd's Take on the House Settlement. It Seems Like a Step Back. Especially for a Power 2 that does not need the NCAA. 17. I spotted this one as AI right off the bat. An awful lot of what we see in general now is AI and the frequency is accelerating quickly. Most of what I see on Facebook regarding our Oregon DUCKS is both AI and garbage. Thank you Charles for a great must visit location every day.

  20. That came through loud and clear after the Vandy win over Alabama. A SEC "fan" should have celebrated the win, blabbered on about the depth & quality of the conference. But all Finebaum could do was throw DeBoer under the bus.
  21. SIDEARM Integrations GODUCKS.COM Oregon won Saturday's first game in dramatic fashion and followed it with a run-rule victory over the Wolverines.
  22. Not Tournament Related but How About Some BBall Love for Payton Pritchard + The Olde Towne Team! Celtics' historic shooting fuels a record-breaking season WWW.YARDBARKER.COM The Boston Celtics made history on Friday night, breaking the NBA record for the most three-pointers made in a single season.
  23. I agree with Bill! Absolutely a "Play on" call. Yes, Flagg missed the shot at the end of the game, and credit Houston completely for the win. But that was an awful call.
  24. Florida's Clayton is in Rare Air with Larry Bird. Walter Clayton Jr. continues to carry Florida. A title will make him a Gators legend. WWW.USATODAY.COM With 34 points vs. Auburn and 30 points in Elite Eight, Walter Clayton is the first to hit that mark in those rounds since Larry Bird did it in 1979.
  25. Depression in Durham. Duke faces fallout of epic meltdown in 'heartbreaking' Final Four loss to Houston WWW.USATODAY.COM Duke looked all set to play for the national title in the NCAA men's tournament before an epic meltdown against Houston caused a heartbreaking loss. I want the Gators to win it all for Gat. Houston to win it all for college roommates Jim Nance and Freddy Couples.
  26. After letting the players mug one another up and down the court, I didn't like the late foul call on Flagg preparing to rebound a missed free throw. Hats off to Houston for hanging in and not quitting. But for me, a huge UNLV fan when I worked in Las Vegas, the game has become more like sumo wrestling. Foul calls are based on whimsy. The play near the basket looks like a rugby scrum. (Watch out for waving cane. ) Thanks, 30, for all of the great CBB Tourney posts. Bill Rafferty did not like the call. Bill's seen a lot of ball. Did Cooper Flagg foul? Controversial call contributes to Duke collapse vs Houston WWW.USATODAY.COM A controversial foul call on Cooper Flagg allowed Houston to get the go-ahead free throws in a Final Four loss to the Cougars
