  1. UCLA in 1990 or ‘91? Third string TE Vince Ferry caught the winner. 35K watching max. Goalposts did not have a chance to remain upright.
  2. This one might be my favorite so far. Not all that exciting, no coach rants, no distorted press box communication - Just visual art. Someone put some time in on this one behind the scenes. Yay film. What a great idea. These guys are so good and so fast to the final product.
  3. Thank you so much for posting these pictures. These made my day. It is so tough to find up to the day pictures of the construction.
  4. Surprised only that Rutgers was not ready to play at all. They can’t be that bad. They were leading Washington at one point a week or 2 ago. Right? Now, how does the team keep the intensity for a weak-ish Wisconsin team?
  5. OBD have far too many roadblocks this year to be looking forward beyond the very next game. Yes, we just beat a good team in a hostile environment 2500 miles away, but I am old enough to remember the last time Indiana came to Eugene. Unbueno. I feel good about two games: Minnesota at home and Wisconsin in a bowl full of tie dye (hopefully everybody gets the wardrobe memo). Iowa and Rutgers are going to be nail biters I am afraid. Washington in Seattle? Pissed USC? Yes, we should win each one, but a mistake or two could doom each of these games for us easily. After watching the Ala/GA game yesterday I am NOT convinced we have level of physical ability. Yet.
  6. Please do not get my hopes up.
  7. Thank you for clarifying that fact in writing for all to see. The Cotton Bowl season was sooooo good. The catch in Seattle? Now THAT was a play.
  8. I sure hope we aren’t kicking ourselves for letting that freshman QB from Hawaii who portal’ed to Cal go without a hell of a fight. He looks the part against oac on their first drive. With that said I hope he beats the feeble beavs by 10 touchdowns.
  9. Thank you. I’m more interested in up to date pics of construction.
  10. …….of the new indoor practice facility construction? Asking for a friend
  11. I am not on board in the least. The only bright side I see is that it is not Boise or Fresno. oac is not Oregon’s problem. All future games should be at Autzen or no deal. Hell, call every other year a “neutral site” game hosted at Autzen and give the oac AD a 25% bump in ticket allotment. There are many possibilities I would think. The last option should be giving them a home game every other year. Let that dying dog suffer an agonizing death.
  12. I am looking forward to seeing the football attendance for oac when a home slate includes Utah State and Texas State. The only conference draws may be Boise and Fresno. I predict a very New Mexico-like** late season attendance number of sub 20K for turds like TSU and USU. CSU not much better. **I admit I have a grad degree from UNM and attended a few sub 10K games while there. I do not see the reasoning for not joining the MWC. It would have been a much stronger conference than the Pac-Steight or the current MW. Beavernation needs a B-2 flyover and a bunkerbuster shot to the athletic department. Of course Beaverbob will do a press conference and claim that there is nothing to see there.
  13. I politely vote no.
