Wow, I'm surprised as well. All of my interactions and observations concerning the Utah fan base have been overwhelmingly positive. I'd like to think that most Utah fans are first class.. Maybe it was just the adrenaline pumping? After all, at the end of the day, it IS "Us vs. Them", so maybe that's it? I'll miss Utah... although I won't miss playing them lol

The USC Trojans have been, erm, not good against stiffer competition, and that's putting it mildly. Their lack of a competent defense has REALLY caught up to them, and there's a strong chance that by the time our Ducks get a crack at them, that game will have lost a lot of it's luster, especially given the information presented in the below picture. Thoughts?

I went out on a limb and predicted Oregon to go 13-0, win the Pac-12, and make the playoff. Thus far, I feel pretty good about that pick, despite the gauntlet that awaits OBD... And I feel good about this game as well. I got Oregon in a close game 41-38. Nice article! Great read.

I wasn't a fan of the egg shell unis at first, but I gotta say man, they've really grown on me. Sidenote: This forum just might be the only place in the world I can come and talk about our beloved Ducks uniforms without having to hear the dreaded jokes about uni combos and national championships. I had a buddy of mine who's a Texas fan state that he sees Washington running away with this one easily... he says that he thinks Bo Nix is due for a bad game and this is it.. and that Washington will stop our run game and force us to pass, then pick us off twice and beat us by double digits. Literally told me that he just doesn't understand why anyone thinks Oregon has a chance and that there's absolutely NO WAY we win this game?!? Like, WHAT?? Those purple mutts up north haven't seen a team as talented, balanced, efficient, and physical on offense OR defense (one of only two teams that's top ten in scoring offense and defense, mind you) as they will when OBD roll into town. Oh, and my buddy? I made a bet with him. He'll owe me a steak dinner by the end of the weekend if it's a close game or if Oregon wins. Go Ducks!

That's an INSANE level of recruiting that's becoming more and more common up in Eugene. Sheesh! 🔥🔥🔥 Oh, and to answer your question Charles, I'd say save a few for the portal. We have a very healthy mix of portal players and homegrown recruits who are contributing on both sides of the ball and it is my humble opinion that it will continue paying dividends well into the future!

Coach Lanning and the crew are doing big things on the recruiting trail and I'm here for it!

I watched that blunder happen in real time. I had two thoughts. 1. That is a textbook FIREABLE offense. 2. Oregon definitely upgraded with Dan Lanning.

Long time reader, first time commenter! I'm gonna miss #pac12afterdark. I will, however, NOT miss Pac-12 refs. Looking forward to next weekend's game against that team up north whose name I won't mention here lol. Go Ducks!
