  1. Ehh, we'll cross that bridge when we get there.
  2. Welp, Kalen DeBeor is going down south to Alabama to try to fill Saint Nick's shoes! So let me get this straight. Washington is: -reeling from an embarrassing loss in the Natty - going to a tougher conference - making half of what everyone else is - has less talent than half their new conference - loses all its best players - loses its head coach did i miss anything? I SHOULD be sympathetic. As a Duck fan, I too have felt the anguish of losing a beloved coach to another gig. It sucks, I know, so I absolutely SHOULD be sympathetic.... But I WON'T! I shall bathe in the misery of Husky fans everywhere, and relish every second of their collective meltdown, and I shall do so with a smile on my face! In the words of Mr. Charles Fischer himself... "I never said I was NOBLE."
  3. You could be right. If so, I got no problem with it. Helps my week be better!
  4. I have a LOT of faith in the Ducks. And from what I've seen, Coach Lanning will definitely have the team ready to play. It's hard to underestimate a team that's already beaten you, regardless of what Vegas says, ya know?
  5. Yeah, the more I think about it, the more I realize: That wasn't oversight. That was INTENTIONAL. ESPN is purposely doing that to avoid facing the music regarding their role in the demise of an entire conference. You'd think they throw the Oregon State fanbase a bone and give those fans an experience they deserve. Instead, they get a completely unnecessary slap in the face. Pathetic.
  6. Click the link to the video below, watch, and keep in mind: HE ranked the Ducks in the exact same spot 24 hours ago. THE EXACT SAME SPOT. Greg, chill out, my brother. All that flailing can't be good for your health. EVERYBODY...if you have trouble with a link not creating an article box, or video--make sure you have a space above the link and below it. Easy!
  7. Y'all, read the last sentence! I literally can't stop seeing this statement being made about our Ducks!
  8. I keep seeing that phrase pop up over and over and over again. First it was Kirk Herbstreit who bestowed that honor. Then, it was some random article on Bleacher Report that I stumbled across while checking scores. And just now, it was an article on The Oregonian, courtesy of Joe Freeman. As talking heads from all over the country continuously heap praises amongst OBD, they all keep coming to the same conclusion. NOBODY wants to play the Ducks right now. What are your thoughts? Let's talk about it!
  9. Really good at scoring points, and also really good at stopping other squads from scoring points. Yessir!!
  10. If a team that isn't really known for running the ball can run wild like that, imagine what Bucky Irving and Jordan James will do... Yeahhhhh Trojans: Y'all in trouble.
  11. We all know that USC has an explosive offense. That much is true. However, they may also have the single worst defense I have ever seen in my entire life. Granted, I'm only 30 years old. But still, that counts for something, right? But I digress. The Trojans, fresh off of a 52-42 loss to that team up north, come limping into Eugene next weekend for a matchup against a Ducks team that has been on a tear since their lone loss to that aforementioned team from up north. (Side note: If we play them again, I love our chances.) USC to date, has given up the following: 41 to Colorado 41 to Arizona 48 to Notre Dame 34 to Utah 49 to Cal And now, 52 to...you-know-who. That's all consecutively, by the way, which means over the past 6 weeks, USC is giving up an absolutely ABYSMAL 44.1 points per game. HOW IS THAT EVEN POSSIBLE??? Meanwhile, since the lone loss to you-know-who, Oregon's starting defense has given up a whopping two touchdowns, which includes the 63-19 beatdown Cal just received a few hours ago at the time of me posting this. Slackers, am I right? USC is in for a long night next weekend, and here's three reasons why. 1. DEFENSE: Oregon can match USC offensively. The Ducks are averaging a ridiculous 47.4 PPG, which leads the country if I'm not mistaken. But USC CANNOT match Oregon's defense, specifically their physicality. These guys are playing lights out right now, and I don't forsee that stopping anytime soon. They're strong, fast, physical, well coached and capable of causing all sorts of chaos. The closest comparison USC has to what awaits them is Utah, and we saw how that went. 2. OFFENSE: As i mentioned earlier, Oregon can match USC's offensive output. They're extremely balanced, have weapons galore, and don't make very many mistakes. Bo Nix is the most consistently excellent quarterback in the country, and OC Will Stein is getting better and better each game. No team has held them under 33 points. NOT. A. SINGLE. ONE. And as I said before, USC has a HORRIBLE defense. These brothers can't stop a NOSEBLEED right now. 3. TALENT: For the first time this season (second if you include Notre Dame), USC will face a team that, player for player, matches or even EXCEEDS them in terms of sheer talent. Oregon has been out-recruiting USC for a few years now, according to pretty much every major recruiting site that exists. That matters. All in all, the Ducks are very well coached, more talented, more balanced, and more physical than any team that the Trojans have faced this year. Could they pull off an upset? Sure they could. I don't see it happening though, not if Coach Lanning has anything to say about it. I assure you, he'll have plenty. Go Ducks!
  12. I had a screenshot of a post that recaps the history between Utah and OBD in a HILARIOUS way. Unfortunately, the text appears to be too small to read. I'll try to recrop it and post it again, but I apologize in advance if it's still too small to read.
  13. A HILARIOUS spin on the recent history between Utah and OBD. Enjoy EDIT: My apologies. Technology doesn't seem to want to cooperate with me.
  14. Wow, I'm surprised as well. All of my interactions and observations concerning the Utah fan base have been overwhelmingly positive. I'd like to think that most Utah fans are first class.. Maybe it was just the adrenaline pumping? After all, at the end of the day, it IS "Us vs. Them", so maybe that's it? I'll miss Utah... although I won't miss playing them lol
  15. HUGE pick up for Coach Lanning and company! By far the best recruiting class in the Pac-12, and trailing only tOSU in the B1G? I'll take it!
  16. You, my friend, look like a prophet right now. WELL DONE. #ScoDucks
  17. The USC Trojans have been, erm, not good against stiffer competition, and that's putting it mildly. Their lack of a competent defense has REALLY caught up to them, and there's a strong chance that by the time our Ducks get a crack at them, that game will have lost a lot of it's luster, especially given the information presented in the below picture. Thoughts?
  18. Feels like we found a way to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory. This one stings
  19. I just built a time machine using, erm, questionable methods. I was able to travel 48 hours into the future, and alas my Duck brethren, I have returned from my travels with indisputable evidence of our impending victory!! Using technology of highly advanced and legally questionable nature, I was able to capture this image in Seattle approximately 48 hours from now. Observe...
  20. I can only imagine. I live in Texarkana, Texas (the same city LMJ is from) and I catch all sorts of grief from people who AREN'T Husky fans. You stay strong behind enemy lines!
  21. I'm going to actively NOT watch the game. The reason why? Because every single time I don't watch a big game on TV, we win, and oftentimes we win big. EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. Color me superstitious, I don't mind. WE GOT HUSKIES TO BEAT!
  22. I find myself completely and totally speechless.... wow. Delusion knows no bounds in Husky land, I see.
