This is why I believe we will hit the ground running and not be as much of beginners in our first year.

The no block no rock mantra started with the Kelly years. I believe it was carried over by the subsequent HCs.

I did it that way to expound on the difference between 1st and 2nd yr players.

As far as being young I have to politely disagree.
Offense
QB Nix 4 yrs Butterfield 3 yrs Thompson 2 yrs
RB Dollars 4yrs Whittingham 3 yrs Caldwell 2 yrs Irvin 2 yrs
WR Cota 4 yrs Chapman 4 yrs Crocker 4 yrs Hudson 3 yrs Franklin 2 yrs Thornton 2 yrs. McGee 2 yrs
OL all of them 4+ yrs
Webb TE 4 yrs Herbert 3 yrs Ferguson 2 yrs Maldovo 2 yrs
Defense
DL DJ Johnson 4 yrs Dorlis 4 yrs Almavae 4 yrs Tamani 4 yrs Riley 4 yrs Rogers 4 yrs Ware Hudson 3 yrs
LB Funa 4 yrs Swinson 4 yrs LaDuke 4 yrs Sewell 3 yrs Flowe 3 yrs Bassa 2 yrs Brown 2 yrs
Safety B Williams 4 yrs Stephens 4 yrs Hill 4 yrs Addison 4 yrs Bridges 4 yrs Greenfield 3 yrs
CB Gonzalez 3 yrs Manning 3 yrs Barkins 2 yrs Dickinson 2 yrs Florence 1 yrs Tucker 1 yrs Turner 1 yrs.
Remember that the most improvements are made between 1st and 2nd yrs. The frosh above are all 4* or better talent and played significant snaps last year. Imho they should explode this year.
This same team went on the road last yr and beat tOSU so they aren't afraid of the big stage.
That's why I believe we are not a young team.

I like them all as it means game day.

Does the fact that Bo was rehabbing from last years ankle injury and new team play any factor into how good he's going to be next year? I don't see how it wasn't.
-
And it gives us the edge of being the underfeathers ( can't say that other word as even the mention of any kind of Pooch turns my stomach).

I'm going with Bo on this 1. I believe he'll take apart the PAC. After what I saw in the spring. Watch out Bo's gonna shake his tail feathers with the benefits from this summer.

Wow 30 I'm high on him 2 but that'll be almost a 90 tackle increase from this last yr. He had 111 this past season.

I'll go with defense, and part of Sewell winning the Butkus Award will be him breaking the Oregon single season tackles record of 206, set by Tom Graham, 1969.in 11 games. They finished, 5-5-1.

I've seen these kind of posts before from recruits saying the same thing then have nothing of the sorts occur. Hopefully but just saying.

I hate predicting stats or awards there are so many factors involved.
-
The key here is we get his last visit. That's usually a big factor in who he chooses to play for. I believe he looks good in yellow and green and those aren't my sunglasses I'm looking through

I didn't bet on baseball.
I didnt bet on the Reds. Pete Rose

"Float like a butterfly sting like a bee". Muhammad Ali.
With this new rule we might as well put QBs in tutus. Jack Lambert LB Pittsburgh Steelers.
I eat people like you for lunch. Can't remember who said it

May I add another what if? I don't remember the year but we were undefeated at I think 8 and 0. We went to UCLA and they were also undefeated. We were kicking their a** when late in the 3rd qt Ruben Droughns hurt his knee and was lost for rest of the season.
I know nobody wants to remember last year but I still believe if CJ Verdel doesn't go down against Stanford we win that game and if he and B Williams stayed healthy for the rest of the season we would have made it to the playoffs.
-
To me it's the butt sniffers. I remember how arrogant their fans and team were.
I never felt State was like that. Besides they are still Oregonians and we beat them most of the time. Can't win them all.
-
I like we are not just a 1 trick pony. In almost every sport all of our venues and practice facilities are top notch and innovative.
It's The Oregon Way!

I posited last yr that we should kick them out if they didn't want to be more of an asset than a hindrance to CFB

An on your seat QB. But because he got hurt at the end of the 1st half in Bowl game (don't wanna remember it hurt so bad) it became the worst loss in our history.
If I remember correctly it wasn't just him we lost but our starting center. We put in a guy that couldn't snap the ball so even though we didn't have a backup QB it probably wouldn't have mattered.
That's how bad it got!!!

From the early years
R Droughns and S McCullough
And have to add CJ Verdel who also started as a frosh. If he just didn't always get hurt! When he was healthy he was also 1 of our greats.

Still have him at #2 behind Rashada. Either 1 would make my day.

Hopefully he's like R Freeman both a bulldozer and speed demon

IMHO the 2nd greatest Duck RB. Holds the career rushing record. Also just noticed he wore #21. The same as the goat LMJ
