  1. The way football is now it is amazing that Novosad is still a Duck. He's been around longer, has looked good every time he's been on the field, but Dante Moore, who was here, then wasn't, then is back again, is the presumptive starter. The best way to look at this, I believe, is to trust that Lanning and Stein know what they're doing and that Moore and Novosad have a good, yet competitive, eye on the prize.

This is tricky, if you have 2 starters, you don't have any, is true. One of them has to be named the starter, and be able to function without being afraid that one mistake gets him sent to the bench. Meanwhile, No.2 has to be ready. standing in that strange way QB's do, with their hands stuck under their collar, ready to go in the game.

Or OBD could just make Arch Manning an offer he can't refuse.

  2. I have nothing to add to all the great points made by fred flintstone, and 3 things are true, it never rains at Autzen Stadium, and the Ducks aren't losing, in the bright sunshine to Indiana or USC either. While it's in the realm of possibilities, and Fisch has the Mutts moving in the right direction, they aren't ready to beat OBD in 2025.

The Duck is too popular to be relegated down to the mechanized category, but he should be #1 in both. Mike should be #1 in the live animal division due to the fact that if he gets out of his cage somebody is dying. Finally, as much as I despise USC, their mascot should replace Texas Tech's on this list.

The Duck is No.1, doesn't matter the category. Mike? Yes, not necessarily because of death, but he's just cool, and I'd get rid of the ----Notre Dame Leprechaun, leave him to "Lucky Charms" Traveler should be on the list, and Montana? Why?

I think the SEC gets into lala land because the rest of the league see themselves as being Alabama’s equal the last 10 years.

This is what SMU Coach Lashlee said. Of course, PAWL ranted and raved, deflected the point by bringing up the past about SMU.

If Alabama and USC (west coast USC) swapped their history over the last decade, how different would the narrative be?

A fascinating thought. USC-Carroll was pretty hot. But I don't think any team from the west coast would generate the heat an SEC team does. "They do want it more" USC alone splits the local attention with UCLA, the Rams, the Chargers, the Dodgers, Lakers, Clippers, the beaches. Alabama?

We have a pretty solid list of coaches. Melyssa Lombardi deserves accolades for resurrecting the program.

However, I did notice that Kelly Graves contract is through the end of this upcoming season. If the team fails to improve this year is a coaching change on the horizon?

    Agree on both counts.

Looking at schedules and the odds, I think OBD, Ohio State, and Penn State will all return to the playoff, with at least one of the three having a 1st round bye and a good chance for the other two to host 1st round games. Many PO projections have No. 10 Miami playing No. 7 Oregon in Autzen

So great to actually talk about games! Cignetti just makes me a bigger fan everyday... Welcome back. Mario!
