  1. It really is interesting to see how the season is working out for the Ducks, they have some big W's, 2 over UCLA, 1 and maybe another over USC. These put them in contention, and as they were winning those games, i didn't see them playing amazing basketball. I saw them playing well, defending, they looked like they belonged with the Bruins and trojans, and they looked like they belonged with No.2 Arizona, before losing at the end. But what has Oregon on the bubble is those L's to Cal, and at Colorado and twice to ASU? How did those happen? Change those to W's and the Ducks are where we expect them to be this time of the season.
  2. Not bad, Ducks, right behind the regulars at the Invitational

  4. Ah yes, Pat Riley's New York Knicks. It is a credit to Riley I suppose that he could go from coaching Magic Johnson's "Showtime" and then the 90's Knicks. But yes. One of the guys on the halftime show last night mentioned that the game was getting physical, and that would benefit UCLA. Well, it did, but Oregon was called for 12 fouls while UCLA had 18 and one player foul out.
  5. I dealt with that often in the Navy. As a cook particularly when it came to breakfast. The menu was clear, "No exceptions" But, of course every day, sailor after sailor would want 2 eggs instead of 3, bacon instead of sausage, and of course it was even more fun when on Masters At Arms duty, some sailors who were eager to leave the ship, and some who had trouble returning, couldn't remember how it's done. For those who couldn't remember where the aircraft carrier was parked, that was another deal altogether. Rules that are expected to be followed are not hard to find, especially here.
  6. 4-Star WR Justius Lowe to enroll early, Join Oregon Ducks for Spring Football Zachary Neel Duckswire
  7. UCLA attempted 20 more shots, outscored Oregon in the paint, the Ducks had 19 turnovers, but, In Need of a Resume' building Win, Oregon gets it by Beating No.12 UCLA Matt Prehm 247sports
  8. Walton is definitely polarizing, either love or hate. I don't find his commentary to be ridiculous or homer, he wants every game to go to OT! He definitely brings different information than other commentators during games, and sometimes he's not entirely accurate, tends toward hyperbole, but I think he's the greatest commentator in the history of sports commentary!!! And I'm glad he covers the Conference of Champions!!!!
  9. We'll disagree on this one. In this game, like the other's I've heard him do between Oregon -UCLA, I haven't heard Bruin homering, and on other games, I haven't heard it. In the ASU 3 OT win over UCLA, I didn't hear it. Bill is all about the game, throwing out hyperbole everywhere. But, that's what I hear.
  10. Again, Walton is never a Bruin Homer, he says it was clearly an offensive foul on the Bruin, Riley, not the defensive foul on Kepnang.
  11. Bruce Coldren 12-14 recollection by Bill, very cool.
  12. This is also where I land. I'm still understanding that establishing a running game is the key component unless you're running an air raid. But Alabama since Saban's awakening has gone with whatever works.
