Good gosh, the reaction of crybaby Ohio State fans is something to behold! Will they get the Ohio Governor involved the way Oklahoma did years ago? Now keep in mind that not all fans are this way, as FishDuck has an editor who was the perfect sport after the game. She also told me that the stadium was "vibrating" a few times. What? That area is made in CONCRETE! But it got me to preparing for next time we play them, which will probably occur in two months? "Playing Ohio State again? Kinda boring, as they haven't beat Oregon in a decade." When we beat them in Basketball, Softball, Baseball, etc....."That was nice to win, and not bad considering we're a FOOTBALL SCHOOL."

I was thinking about it, but figured that Stein had another miracle play ready. But like one of the 4th downs vs. Washington last year....the QB missed an open receiver. It happens.

I will politely disagree. What he did at Arizona is a coaching miracle, as they were horrible and he got them up into the top 15? Given time at Washington, he will be concerning for us, IMHO. As it is, he assembled a much better team than I thought he could considering how nearly all the starters left. I am not going to trash on other coaches too much, as I want the bad ones to stay! Meanwhile I am loving what we are building at Oregon...

We are currently No. 2 on Rivals, and again....Rivals is always tougher. But the team ahead of us simply has more recruits at the moment, and may end up losing some of them! 😉

But wait! There's more! He continues to email me, without realizing that I was a supreme troll in my youth, and that I spar with violators who get banned on a regular basis. I could do Master Class on trolling, and was going to unload on him, but refrained, as you never know how wacko they are. But I did tell him to, "Try to beat Michigan." (I supposed I should not lecture others on being more noble?)

If you can believe it....I got FIVE emails from a Buckeye fan claiming how the officials screwed Ohio State from a field goal and winning. Then I reminded him of how the officiating expert at the NBC studios admitted that the interception in tOSU's first drive should have been called as such. So you can have your field goal, and you still should have been down another four points. But hey! Emailing a random Oregon fan five times is not pathetic at all!

Great article Jordan, and after watching all the reaction by the talking heads on TV...I received the impression that the traditional powers-that-be at the B1G welcome Oregon's brand and all the eyeballs to the conference, but I also got the impression that we, "need to know our place." And it sure as heck is not at the-head-of-the-table! But come December...it just might be!

When people learn that Oregon out-rushed the Buckeyes, and realize what that means on BOTH sides of the trenches…perceptions will change.
