  1. I suppose it makes sense to them, but watch for DazeNconfused''s analysis/preview article tomorrow for a different take. And learn a little about the Oregon defense tomorrow as well from yours-truly... (From the Fabulous FishDuck Feed) No love for the Ducks: CBS Sports analysts unanimous in Oregon-BYU picks SATURDAYOUTWEST.COM Oregon hosts BYU on Saturday. A panel of analysts for CBS Sports thinks it's a pretty easy game to pick.
  2. Flowe could be exceptional, but he is not there yet, IMHO. But Jeffrey Bassa was a starter last year at that "Money" linebacker spot and can do the job superbly. Plus you may see Jackson LaDuke get some time at that spot on running downs. Keith Brown played at that position last year in the Ohio State game, so we have some veterans to fill in nicely, I believe.
  3. This is the future, and I would hope that joint arrangements could be made? We do need a streaming option, but if for some games it is the only option later, we can live with that if the $$$ are enough for Oregon. We can avoid going to the B1G..because the new 12 team playoff gives us a better chance of making it while in the Pac-12, and improving our national profile, (and dollars) that much better. Being in the Pac-12 can get us into the Playoff, and a streaming contract can keep us in the Pac-12.
  4. If you are on mobile--you can't see the background photo of the forum, but those on desktop and laptop hopefully can. It is a very cool picture of Cam McCormick about to score... And he has another year of eligibility!

  6. A fantastic tight end room right now, and to think that he and Motavo were freshman last year!
  7. Amen to all. This was a great observation and analysis; I'm glad DazeNconfused is on our side!
  8. Actually, I've resolved to NOT say that anymore as it will just drive me crazy. My positive spin? The guy who wasted that talent is no longer here, and we already have a more balanced and robust offense in just two games than the four years under his coaching. And I am very, very glad for Justin, in overcoming the handicaps applied at Oregon, and yet he is not resentful....in fact still a fan and supporting us. We are very lucky to have an alumni like him, and it makes me cheer for him all the more. (Even if he is in...LA)
  9. Maybe we can be spoken of nationally in a good way after Saturday? (From the Fabulous FishDuck Feed)
  10. Whoops. I forgot about the "rival" factor... (From the Fabulous FishDuck Feed as usual)
  11. Omigosh...what if he could have done that at Oregon? But I am going to enjoy his NFL career--crazy throw.
  12. These running backs are all new to the entire staff, and it makes sense to run them all for a while to get a better sense outside of practice. You do not want to narrow down the RBs used until you are absolutely sure...because it guarantees some transfers. I'm OK with it for now. And I am wondering about the freshman, Jordan James. Hurt or being held out?

  14. We are scheduled for a yellow game vs. the Huskies, and that will probably be at night...
  15. He's going to be piloting the jet flyover at the beginning of the BYU game...
  16. Yes, it is black...but don't wear it! What the heck are they thinking of? What does black look like on television? Just part of the stadium without lighting... Wear Yellow!
  17. My FishDuck Friends...we will suggest this thread every week to those who ask, so if you have suggestions for those visiting Eugene and coming to Autzen...do it here!
  18. See this thread in case it is not in easy view at the top of the forum. Let's all refer to that thread and add to it for our visitors!
  19. This came from another thread and we thank DrJackPlaidPants for it! If you like to tailgate then get there early to beat the traffic and get a spot at the Masonic Lodge across from PK Park on MLK. Lots of good times happening over there.
  20. This came from another thread and we thank Drake for providing the information... Traffic on I5 just south of Salem 3 hours before game time is generally very congested and slow. It will probably take an extra 20 minutes to get to Eugene. If you don’t have tailgating plans the Moshofsky Center is located next to the stadium. It is an indoor practice field. You can grab food, sodas, or beer inside.
  21. This post was in another thread, and thanks to Mic for sharing... After the big win yesterday and with both teams being ranked - yeah, this game will likely sellout. Meaning a traffic mess if you have to drive anywhere around the stadium. My advice to you is to use one of the available Park-n-Locks and ride the shuttle bus to and from the game. The P-n-L at the Pacific Source building north of town will be the easiest for you to reach coming from Salem. Take exit 195 to the Gateway Blvd area and follow your navigator to 555 International Way, Springfield. Easy-Peasy, avoids all the traffic and near impossibility of finding a place to park within a couple miles of the stadium. There is a security guard on-duty there and it's well outside of any densely populated area. It's a safe place to park and a very short walk to the shuttles busses. Oh, and be prepared to pay the $5 shuttle fee/person with your smart phone, if you have one. If you don't - I don't know what to tell you, they can't accept cash. Or, go to Sam's Place off 11th Ave., on Conger, have a beer and ride the free shuttle from there to and from the game. But check it out early first, to make sure the place still runs their shuttle. It's a great little sports bar in West Eugene. Owner's name is Jim.
