Marcel Yates
Not yet for me, as I want to see all the information gathered from a variety of sources. But he has quite a background, and is seemingly over-qualified to be a safeties coach, IMHO. Please see this thread, and in particular, the post by RatherBe. Nice interception by Verone McKinley!

Ty Thompson "Turned Tyler Shough's Head?"
Reading that made me wince, but both those guys have been around a ton of successful QBs, (Moorhead was a QB himself) and in the end....it is the kindest thing to do so Tyler can get a fresh start elsewhere. A high percentage of my photos from this short season have No. 12 in them....and people will not want to see them in future articles or posts. So I have to get some mileage out them while I can!

Could Shough End Up At Arizona?
I really think he ought to go to a smaller school and get his confidence back--being put into another QB room with five others is not a healing scenario for him, IMHO.

Oregon close to hiring Heyward's Replacement
I think Cristobal pulled a rabbit out of the hat with this hire, because things were not looking good for him to get a Heyward-type replacement for some time. Most decided to remain in the NFL or passed on it; this is quite a resume' for a secondary coach. MC upgraded again!

ESPN's Most Intriguing Rookie at Oregon
The most interesting newbie to join Oregon is not who you would think from ESPN. I do like the comparisons they were making... ESPN gives Oregon's Most Intriguing Newcomer for 2021 Season by 247Sports Who do YOU think it is?

Ty Thompson "Turned Tyler Shough's Head?"
Now this is speculation, but this is not the first time it has happened at Oregon, and they covered it in the article. If it is true, it might be another indication of Tyler's diminishing confidence? Oregon freshman QB Ty Thompson may Have 'Turned Tyler Shough's Head' by 247Sports

Ashford's Plan for Football and Baseball: "He's Been Impressive so Far"
This is quite interesting in the coordination taking place between the football and baseball programs with Robby Ashford. He is at a position in baseball that might allow for cross-over a bit easier? It depends on his hitting; can he hit a curve ball? (The killer for Dennis Dixon and why he came back to football full-time) Oregon QB Robby Ashford has Plan to Balance Football and Baseball by 247Sports Robby Ashford in a BASEBALL uniform!

So Close For The Lady Ducks, Lose To Stanford 63-61
Noting player and coaching performance is just fine, so long as we don't get personal (Rule No. 26 here) and you were not at all. In fact discussing the performance....both good and bad, is what a forum is for! An ancillary benefit is how people like you point out items that I did not notice or do not have the knowledge to be aware of. These are great observations, and now when these players do them correctly in the future--we have a greater appreciation of their skills, their work at improving and the coaching that enabled them to progress. So...please Mallard and all--keep informing us! My thanks.

Whoa! Quarterbacks for 2022 are Drying Up!
True, and Ashford could be that long-term project I spoke of....kind of how Dennis Dixon was as a Grey-Shirt for Oregon. Dixon leaving Huskies on the ground in the epic game in Seattle in Storm-Trooper uniforms!

Whoa! Quarterbacks for 2022 are Drying Up!
Well, I am concerned about an unlikely outcome...such as Ty Thompson becoming the starter by season's end? That would clear-out the QB room with transfers, and thus this 2022 QB could now become quite important...

Whoa! Quarterbacks for 2022 are Drying Up!
I don't like the looks of this for Oregon as four of the top five QBs for 2022 have already verbally committed? Some good discussion and makes me wonder if 2022 isn't the year of taking a "project," since we have a stacked QB room already? Athlon: Ranking the Pac-12 Rosters
It uses 247Sports rankings, (of which are flawed over the longer term, IMHO) but it still has Oregon in a good place. Interesting to see the other comparisons too... Pac-12 Football: Ranking the Rosters for 2021 by Athlon Sports

So Close For The Lady Ducks, Lose To Stanford 63-61
OREGON ATHLETIC COMMUNICATIONS FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE | MONDAY, FEBRUARY 15, 2021 EUGENE, Ore. — Oregon rallied back from a double-digit deficit and led in the final two minutes Monday against No. 6 Stanford, but the Cardinal scored the final five points of the game to beat the No. 13 Ducks in Matthew Knight Arena, 63-61. The Ducks took a 56-51 lead with 3:40 to play on a three-pointer by Jaz Shelley, one of six for Oregon in the second half. A free throw by Taylor Mikesell put the Ducks up 61-58 with 1:46 left, but Stanford senior Kiana Williams tied it with a three-pointer and freshman post Cameron Brink hit go-ahead free throws with 28 seconds left. Oregon had two chances to win it out of timeouts in the remaining moments but couldn't convert. "We played hard enough and well enough to win the game, and we didn't," UO coach Kelly Graves said. "So I know we're disappointed. But at the same time, I'm proud of the team for the fight we showed. We played hard for four quarters; it just didn't go our way." "Sedona (Prince) set a great screen, I got a good look — definitely gotta knock that down," Mikesell said of her miss with 19 seconds left. "It felt great. Next time." Who Stood Out: Paopao had an outstanding overall game with 11 points on 3-of-5 three-point shooting, nine rebounds and four assists. She scored 11 of her points in the first half, about the only consistent producer on offense while Oregon was falling into that 33-18 hole. Mikesell led the Ducks with 13 points and Sabally added 12 points with seven rebounds. Shelley hit two three-pointers, her first game with multiple made threes since New Year's Day. What It Means: On one hand, the Ducks seem to be taking their lumps recently, having lost five of their last nine games. On the other hand, two of those losses were to the No. 6 Cardinal, two were to No. 10 Arizona and the other was to No. 8 UCLA. "We're right there," Graves said. "Stanford is a legitimate championship game contender. They really are. We're used to playing that type of team. So when we get to the NCAA Tournament, we'll have seen everything, and played against the best." Notable: Freshman guard Maddie Scherr played three minutes after missing the previous two games while in COVID-19 protocols. … Junior guard Taylor Chavez also was on hand after also missing two games due to the protocols, but she was on the bench in street clothes. --During halftime of the ESPN telecast Monday night, the NCAA Tournament selection committee released its first top-16 ranking of the season. Oregon was No. 11 overall, which would translate into a No. 3 seed in an NCAA Tournament region. Stanford was No. 3 overall, Arizona was No. 8 and UCLA was No. 9. Up Next: The Ducks play at UCLA on Friday (5 p.m., Pac-12 Network).

PLEASE, Oregon....Give it Up....Never Again...
I completely agree and you are the first I've seen anywhere point that out. It is a shame that Cristobal does not take it to heart.... As it turns out....I do not like the all-green, but I acknowledge our record in them. I still like this...
