  1. My FishDuck Friends, I am going to create something on this site that has never been done for Oregon fans ... and I need your help. There used to be Oregon "Data Aggregators" out there such as Oregon oneclicksports that would have a string of links down the page of all the Oregon articles out there to read. It was handy and it was free; it operated on a business model of web ads, but when the revenue from online ads cratered years ago and stayed down--these data aggregators mostly disappeared. There are just two left out there, but they only pull from six or seven sites is all. I will create the FishDuck Feed for each day of which we will pull from over 30 sites that refer to Oregon Sports either every day or on occasion, and we will be checking these a couple of times each day! What a convenience for all Duck fans, and free? Whew! Favor No. 1: --I want the most efficient way of gathering these articles; which news feed do you use? (Provide a link please) --What sites do you go to for all your Oregon Duck Sports News? I know it is a chore to list all of them, but imagine if you didn't have to go to them each day? Give me your list and links so I don't miss any please. If you are more comfortable emailing this link list of Oregon Sports Sources and news feed, then please do. charles@fishduck.com Favor No. 2: My gift to Oregon fans is a free site that I spent a hundred hours on, (at least) and a couple of thousand dollars. (Thus far) I will be working full-time soon and am asking if you can do your part for the thousands of Ducks that come to this site. Can you help 4 hours a week out of the 168 hours? (Easy Work) Please email me and let me know; if you already did in your profile--thanks, as I'll be in touch. This will be amazing, and is so needed, so help me out to help all of you. My sincere thanks, Charles FishDuck Writer and UO Student Pat Pannu ,and Mr. FishDuck at a UO Job Fair in 2015
  2. Ok...I admit that I am way-too-old to get so excited, and be such a shameful homer...but I am. I just love my Ducks so much, and all these tweets just get me rocking!
  3. I don't know the rule...but now with Chris Duarte, Eric Williams and N'Faly Dante injured/out for today with Richardson not at full strength....this season is tipping to the dumpster from all the injuries and COVID interruptions. Can they all come back next year with the same eligibility? Gosh I would love to see what this team of veterans could do with a year of playing together and being healthy!
  4. Wow...nice to get some love at the National Level, and almost gushing. Go to No. 2 of this article, and I love one of the quotes, "The talent accumulation at Oregon is absolutely phenomenal." Rivals Daily Fact-or-Fiction by Rivals.com We love the looks of Ty Thompson!
  5. Oh geez...now the mock drafts are picking Sewell to go Detroit? The graveyard of many NFL careers, just ask Joey. Oregon OL Penei Sewell slotted to Detroit Lions in latest CBS Sports Mock Draft by 247Sports How the Detroit Lions drove Joey Harrington into depression by Detroit Free Press
  6. Is he an Oregon-boy all the way through or what? Nice to see his other comments as well... Justin Herbert reveals where things stand on Nike deal by 247Sports
  7. There are some good candidates to choose from among them here, and there are only five out of 23 that are 3-Star players and one of them is my pick, Brandon Buckner. He is not the "right" sized, but he is a ferocious pass-rusher. DT Roundtable: Oregon's biggest sleeper in the 2021 class by 247Sports
  8. Great to see Tony Washington back, and I have a special picture of him running back Winston's touchdown given to me by a photographer at the game. Tony Washington hired as Oregon Football Director of Player Development by NBC Sports Northwest
  9. I still rate our chances as "not-great," because once he visits Ohio State and Alabama...he will be blown away as all are after their visits. He has been to Oregon...old stuff. However, Justin Hopkins of ScoopDuck stated a few days ago that he is still predicting Oregon as the choice for JTT for two reasons that most would not think or or know. (ScoopDuck is certainly worth the subscription, IMHO, and anything I write is days-old, long after all of his readers have read and discussed it.) First...the longer this goes, the more often players do not want to travel far away for college, thus Oregon is the closest and easy for his family to come to games. The second component is who the lead recruiter is....the guy who makes most of the contacts is Mario Cristobal himself, and he does not miss very often! This guy can run like a receiver and plays Defensive Line? Whew!
  10. Two games tomorrow! C'mon to them both!
  11. Not to worry, because the best distance runners are being held out to help the Ducks pursue a National Championship in Indoor Track, (Currently ranked No. 1) since the two seasons are taking place at the same time!
  12. Appointing this firm takes the pressure off the Pac-12 Executive Committee, as they cannot be blamed later!
  13. Most think it will occur at the end of March when his quarter with Tennessee ends and he can begin elsewhere.
  14. Utah....your posts are smokin'....great stuff. Thanks.
  15. Notalot....whew! What a fun list you created to ponder...love it. Yeah Baby!
  16. Agreed. He works so hard to assemble a team that could be special and then all this stuff happens...
  17. I think that Willie Taggart said it best when he considered the compensation and the facilities as he looked out over the HD Complex, "There are no excuses."
  18. No! Very cool, thanks.
  19. BDF....this is one of the few times we will disagree because in reference to your statement above....I will not. It is a means of measuring, not to other teams, but what the potential is at Oregon. Cristobal changed expectations of recruiting at Oregon, while Chip/Helfrich changed expectations about scoring, and it is a shame that both cannot happen at the same time with the level of talent being brought in.
  20. Good one! Thanks for bringing it to us!
  21. Probably a lot of Bean Dip being sold this weekend.... Dairy Farmers are predicting that 20 million pounds of cheese will be consumed on Super-Sunday...and the cheeseheads are not even in the game! Sniff a Reser Cheese?
  22. MaiTaiDuck is BACK! It is so fun to see the "regulars" that were in the comments at FishDuck now present and commenting in the Our Beloved Ducks Forum! Jump in, as the Duck water is just fine in this pond!
  23. Don't try to confuse me with facts, doggone it! 😉
  24. Some of this article we have read, but there was a tasty quote or two that makes you ponder. Cristobal believes DeRuyter will make Oregon 'a whole lot better' by 247Sports
