  1. Utah will be an interesting game, they have two 7 footer's that start down low. Evans will have to step up and guard one of these guy for a good part of the game.

Carlson averages 17.2 points and Keita averages 9.9 they combined for 35 points agents OSU which is a small ball team.

Judging from last game Dante may not be allot of help hope Bittle is good too go he's probably still in good shape as he had a wrist injury and could still run. Diawara needs to foul less and stay in the game longer or this could get ugly down low.

  2. I would have like to see Oquindo and  Tracy play more, they have more heft and weren't being pushed around as much as the other guard. They also play a style of D that is tuff and in your face.

Cook and Dante need to get in shape. Seams to me that Cook would have been a good matchup for Williams who was just killing it against the smaller guards. Dante doesn't even seam like himself, barely able to elevate and getting stuffed by little guys.

Colorado is a tall team that is also quite agile, they played the toughest D the Ducks have seen all year.

Last note...apparently there is more to Dan Lanning's contract than we realized.  By winning 10 games, it is now automatically extended to 2029 and receiving 9.2 million that year.  There is also deferred compensation of an undisclosed amount that would bump his annual current salary up from the seven million.

And it is rumored there is NIKE stock involved that becomes his when he stays a given amount of time?

The NIKE stock option could be quite the incentive to stay long term. College football really is turning into big a corporation, complete with employee stock based compensation. Big corporations have been doing this for a long time to attract and keep the best talent, guess it makes sense for football now.

How long before top QB prospects are getting a Nike stock option? Might be just the incentive to locking down the best players as well.

    Football is going fully corporate.🤢🤮

  4. Penix didn't look right from the beginning, the whole team came out with a deer in the headlights look. Hard to win a big time game when you take the first quarter off, kind of like what the ducks did in the PAC-12 championship.

I've often wondered if playing in a dome affects the QBs. In basketball it's very common for players to have off shooting nights in large domes when they're used to playing in small gyms. If memory serves me right Bo hasn't looked as good throwing in games in  domes. In the Georgia Dome and Allegiant Stadium his throws were shaky to start the game.

I haven't watched a lot of Washington games but Penix was missing some very easy throws at the start of the game.

This team needs their bigs I believe if they are going to make the tournament and have any success when they get there but I love watching them play.

I can't believe they have done so well down low. Most the time it's Evans guarding a guy way bigger than him and he's doing well. On the weak side down low you have Couisnard 6'4", Tracy 6'5", or Oquendo 6'4" garding the 4 spot. Lucky all these guys have some beef to them at 220bl + and surprisingly they aren't getting pushed around with some pretty decent rebounding.
