  1. I read Josh's comment on Cristabol. Had to laugh after I read it because mostly he is spot on. Against Cal I was supremely disappointed and just recognized with Brown is this the best were gonna see with all this talent? To me it's ok to say this offense sucks because it does. I am completely disappointed and I know a lot of you guys and girls that are around my age, you've seen enough. To me it's that simple, play Thompson maybe take a loss maybe not but I guarantee this offense would look like it's meant to be. Probably 500 yard a game offense. I'm concerned if we don't see the OS Brown we lose to UCLA. That's very discouraging right now. Go Ducks let your talk be on the field so start showing it.
  2. Hey all you Duck fans I was wondering how do you feel about losing to Stanford when we clearly on paper were the better team. I love what Mario has done leading up tp this point for many reasons except now I'm starting to wonder is he's the right HC now. I mean is Mario learning from his mistakes and is he allowing himself to get better. I say this is a 50/50 deal right now. He is out recruiting anybody before him in Eugene. The problem to me is all this talent isn't getting coached up. All's I know is he say's AB is our best shot at winning at QB. I say what? Well then to me he's saying we will be lucky to win the PAC 12 then because after the first 5 games Brown is as good as he's ever gonna be. That is like saying I'm gonna have a guy behind a Ferrari who can only drive a Nash. Also all those times in our past we had usually top QBs and we never had a reliable back up to come in if number 1 got injured. Now we clearly have three guys who could play yet their not ready. I say BS and I don't like all this talent to throw to downfield yet we have a QB who can't for the life of him throw and complete anything farther than 30 yards down field. Have we ever had a QB at Oregon that couldn't throw the deep ball? I can't recall because I don't think thats ever been the case. So what I'm saying is can Mario get out of his own way to succeed at Oregon. What's your opinion.
  3. Way to much talent for this offense not to be gaining easily over 400 yards a game. This team if Mooreheads offense is legit and I've seen run with some crispness and it should be a high scoring offense with the right coaching. Cannot believe I'd ever be saying this about any Oregon offenses. How times have changed. This should pay dividends and plus they'll have hopefully a full season including Spring Summer and fall. Then things should be starting to play pretty good. So if everybody at each position plays the way we expect this should be a pretty darn good team and maybe great.
  4. Darren OH heck no as there shouldn't be anyone mad about that comment. I agree the Ducks need to put that talent to use and win the PAC 12 plus get into the playoff's. No excuses just get it done and hopefully some swagger and respectable to. Thank you for your opinion on this schedule and of coarse I will agree with some and disagree with others. Its a tuff schedule to say the least and to me Ohio St is a must win. I say this pure and simple they are 0-9 against the Buckeye's and myself as a fan say enough of that stuff. Either way a tough schedule and if they were to 11-0 that would be a Championship capable team.
  5. Thanks for the information Mr BOB and it might never change. All's I know is they can have Soccer because it's boring and a snooze fest to boot. Even though the way the general population now is messed up way more than ever. I mean Football is getting to the point I no longer want to watch the NFL because of the ridiculous " MONEY " these people make. The show boating I cannot stand and it's like whenever players do that crap it's selfish and it's about them. I like College Football more and I'm even growing tired of it also. Its so about eh BIG programs that it's so obvious and places like 247 which is CBS Sports people. Who does CBS Sports promote? That's simple enough the " SUCK " I mean the SEC and this is obvious. Evidently the guys over there forgot about our 1st amendment with the right to say how we feel about stuff in a tactful and it's ok to disagree with other people and that's what life is about we can agree to disagree. I'm the type of person that shoots straight from the hip and I tell it like it is. I call people out especially if their LYING about something and those young writers over there don't like to be called out. Well I'm sorry then be honest about what you say. Those guys think there experts on Sports and it's quite funny. So anyways it's hilarious when it comes to recruiting and when the Ducks get a high caliber player that say was a 5 star on lets just say about every other recruiting site and including there's if they sign with Oregon they drop their ranking. Its a fact and they know it's true. I got quite a few of the others on there to start rumbling about that also. Its sad that the NCAA, people like them have any influence over the game but unfortunately they do. So I could go on and on about this so I'll just say I've grown tired of the hypocrisy that they constantly feed you and then when you call them out on it they don't like that. So either way I will never chance American Football for that boring game with the checkered ball. I love FISHDUCK though and everyone is just good down to earth people who are all trying to entertain us all and I'll just say thank you guys you all do a great job. Thank you guys.
  6. Man that is so beautiful and WOW Oregon has just been building up and up now it's time to reap the rewards. Thanks for the picture Fish!
  7. Why don't you just say it Ryan, The Washington fan base are dilusional. I can't understand why they act and think the way they do. As for the disdain for Oregon athletics I don't understand why that is also. Alls I know is their hate is evident in the way they talk about the Ducks the things they've done in the past to try and ruin anything Oregon trys to accomplish going forward. You know what they say and this is from the Bible, you Reap what you Sow. So their reaping and it isn't rewards. So that to me is hilarious but there's that ugly word that should have never ever been introduced to the English vocabulary, but if Oregon doesn't get this done then their actually laughing at us. All's I know is myself and Charles the Fish Duck himself along with all you other gray beards and you know who I mean are in Rehab from all the close calls when it comes to our sports programs. Either Bias, Injury, Flukes you name it Oregon has been close a few to many times so my question and its a serious one, When will Oregon get over the OH so close? Then when it happens we can point North and tell our Hated misguided Leg Lifters hey it's only the beginning so go ahead and remember the good OL days when you had to cheat to win it is this, that's as good as its ever gonna get for people like you. Love me some Green and Yellow Chamionships. GO Ducks. Recruit, Recruit, Recruit.
  8. That is a great question about the QB position. If you get a chance to look at his film it's pretty good. He actually looks very calm in his playing. I say compete if you want the job. I wouldn't be surprised to see Thompson except I would rather see how good Brown would look running Mooreheads's offense. I think it's a good thing to have. True blue not afraid of some competition because it's going to make me better. Either way Shough was a surprise to me but maybe he saw something we didn't. Great stuff and I can't wait for a injury free season with everyone contributing for the same goals and they actually get it. Grow up and take the opurtunity to win big games and bring the UO up even bigger heights. Go Ducks!
  9. Mr Yogi Hmmm what do all Oregon Duck Football fans want? The hardware Mr Yogi as in the Championship Trophy!
  10. I think your a little over board about the PAC 12. Yes for sure Larry Scott in my opinion should have been fired 6 years ago and why PAC 12 presidents didn't see the writing on the wall is baffling at best. I don't believe one minute with a full season and off season of Football training can't elevate Oregon back to the top regardless if SC, or the Mutts get relevent. I would never want Washington to be better at anything because I just cannot ever see myself ever voting for them in anything pertaining to sports. Thanks for the info and I do agree mainly about Scott. He killed the conference but I don't believe it will never rebound with the right guy in charge. Anyone ever hear of Merton Hanks?
  11. Any great coaching would have tried to help Tyler settle down and like the one poster said just have fun. I'm as shocked as anyone else about Tyler. I would have to believe it's a 3 way race between Brown , Butterfield and our 5 star future Heisman National Championship QB from Arizona. Kind of funny both Tyler and Thompson are from Arizona. Great stuff and thank you.
  12. All real good points even though I really don't ever read much about them because I've always disliked SC so much. Certainly hope we get JTT to help push us over the top. With Shough leaving and it is puzzling to say the least. He got way too much criticism I think and I think Mario also had his imprint in the way the offense faired so bad in the end. Shough to me still would or could have won the starting spot. He wasn't given a ringing endorsement by Mario. I mean he didn't exactly get the spring summer or even fall for the most important position of all. With all this great recruiting we need to make sure this staff gets these players to compete their hardest to win starting jobs.
  13. Agree Joshua that yes Oregon recruits like no other and now its us the Ducks. Its not that we lack great coach's who can teach, as the main problem to me has been Coach C. He needs to just stick with what he does best and thats keep recruiting these great Behemoths in the trench's and equally train them to be the best. The one thing this coach needs to learn is let the OC you hire do his freaking job. We know Moorehead knows what he's doing and I think it showed a little to much that Mario was involved to much. He hired this guy to get Oregon's offense back to their high scoring days and when Mario gets involved it just looks the same every time. He will either let go of some of the reign's or this will soon fade away. Thanks Josh as usual good stuff.
  14. You missed JTT in that sentence. We most certainly hope he becomes a Duck and I've said all along he will come to Oregon. Ohio St did a huge greatness on their part in getting Man handled by BAMA and this mind you with pretty much equally great recruiting classes. So though I love to HATE the Suckeye's I believe we have just as much going for us in getting him. He would indeed play and help Oregon to not only win the PAC 12 Three years running but also get back to the playoff. If that does happen it will tell me two things. One Oregon has got the QB they want and is playing great Football. Two Moorehead is running the whole offense W/O Mario interfering which now makes Oregon a great team once again.
  15. Honestly Ryan his Dad sounds like a real piece of work. He shouldn't even be involved in throwing pitches out there like he's in some kind of bidding war, AKA Scam Newtons other true piece of work. This prior Tennessee LB is a grown Man so let him make his own decisions. This really isn't to me a good idea because Daddy would be posting on social media if he didn't like how Oregon's DC was using him. Just like Flowe's Coach from High School was posting on Flowe's injury before Oregon's had a chance to say anything. That was certainly not ok and it might have even been a HIPPA violation to boot. Love to have To'to but seems it would be more of a head ache than it's worth. I was worried about Flowe immediately after his coach did that on social media. It should have never been done in the first place so it kind of worries me in a few scenario's like is Flowe a me type of player? I certainly hope not but with all the posts I've seen on social media it reminds me of a young Man who craves the attention. You like that then do it when you get to the NFL. It doesn't belong in the College ranks and should be a violation of team rules to me. But hey I'm old school so this system with how it's going rubs me and I know a lot of you my fellows Gray beards as Charles calls us. I obviously would love to see To'to in Green and Yellow because he would certainly add to this team D.
  16. If I remember correctly Dye played pretty good as a freshman. I was impressed with what lay ahead for Dye and he delivered.
  17. Man if Flowe could have played and healthy, it would have been very beneficial for that D this year. There is still a lot of talent at that LB unit. Funa, Thib's wherever he lines up, Jackson, Sewell, I guess two Jacksons and at LB. I just pray a healthy Flowe is ready to go and we get to see that special skill set of him hitting people and with Sewell playing next to him wow. This LB from the Vol's we had the chance a couple seasons ago to get him here in Eugene. It would be awesome if he does indeed play here then we still laugh at you down south. Ha!
  18. Here's what I hope Coach! I don't know if this is a rumor so I would think it might have some substance to it. I hope with all this talent on board with both sides and especially this offense that Mario lets Moorehead actually coach his offense the way he coached it at PS and I guess Mississippi St. This offense could be lethal if Moorehead can just be the play caller for this offense. So Seven will be fun to watch. Mario should Coach the O Line and let our OC do his job. Seems like that has some substance to it. It looked as if that offense bogged down way to much and I'm pretty sure our OC likes to throw it around and he'll have some talented fire power. Thanks and here's hoping this O takes off like a Duck this year because I was at that Bowl game against Michigan St and it was ugly! So just because we got the talent on D didn't mean that our offense should be looking this sad still when it could look so much better. Thank's Coach.
